The paper-based electrochemical sensor inside the device contains graphene nanoplatelets fixed with nitrogen atoms to advance their electrical conductivity. The addition of capsaicin to the sensor results in its Redox reaction and thereby, generates an electrical current that is measured by the device. Thus,quantifying this compound will help increase the use and the benefits of it across the world.
