11th edition of Food Pro 2015, a biennial event on food processing & packaging technology is organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) during august 28 to 30, in Chennai. Purpose of event is to focus on applications and benefits of emerging technologies.

Event will be beneficial for food processing and packaging technology. From that will get new techniques and opportunities to improve food pro sectors. It will also host a dedicated National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) pavilion.

Major change will be on food processing machinery, plants and equipment, bakery, meat and poultry processing, processed and ready-to-eat foods, and packaging & printing. It shares the technologies based knowledge among the stakeholders of the agro and food processing sectors

There is some session in that they will provide some ideas of advanced emerging technologies in process efficiency technologies, handling and packaging technologies. Emerging technology is beneficial to improve economical status. So that more concentration on developing new trends and techniques.   

About 250 senior personnel representing CEOs, trade leaders and senior executives of leading manufacturers of processed & prepackaged foods, post-harvest technology, food safety solutions, technology suppliers, process instrumentality makers, producer corporations, supplier, exporters; retail chains and government agencies are expected to attend this event, in keeping with the organizers.
