The Educational Advisory Board (EAB) created this conference program and will feature the various sessions led by thought industry leaders. There are various sessions that will highlight a keynote presentation on the future of food safety culture – opportunity for community networking, the 10th annual Town Hall session, 5 certificate courses, and commitment & collaboration.
The 2020 virtual program gathered around more than 1300 food safety professionals, including the ones from companies like Costco, Blue Bell creameries, The Kraft Heinz Company, Publix Supermarkets, Coca-Cola, Walt Disney, and many others from CDC, FDA, and other state and local regulatory organizations.
The Food Summit is the solution-based expo and conference for the food sector in North America as per the BNP media. It will explore the crucial food safety issues the current food sector is struggling with. The agenda of the summit will significantly feature a line-up of educational seminars and government & high-level industry speakers, certification courses, workshops, networking events, and a larger exhibition floor.
On this schedule-
Kick-off- The event will start on May 9 with 5 certification courses, including the NEHA's certification professional -Food Safety (CP-FS) Credential; FSPCA's Intentional Adulteration Course, ALDO's Environmental Sampling for Retail Food Establishment Outbreaks, The HACCP Alliance's HACCP Certificate Training, and Food Fraud Prevention Academy's Food Fraud Prevention Workshop and Certificate Courses.
May 10, Tuesday- The starting session will be a mock civil trial, where the audience can watch opening statements from defense lawyers and plaintiffs and some testimonies along with other workshops in the afternoon.
May 11, Wednesday- There'll be a presentation on food safety culture with speakers from leading companies. Also, the panel will have a discussion on FDA viewpoints on the importance of natural and developing food safety culture.
May 12, Thursday- There will be the 10th annual Town Hall program in the Summit where one can have the conversation with advisors and regulators from Food and Drug Administration's Frank Yiannas and many others.
Closing Session- There will be the closing session on Thursday afternoon which will feature Eric Moorman from Butterball Inc. and Stout of Commercial Food Sanitation that will present an interactive session on 'the trenches with sanitization.'
