There were many retailers who had taken the recommendation seriously. Furthermore, there were two types of nutritional labeling named Traffic Light System and hybrid system (traffic light system + Guideline Daily Amounts (GDAs)).The colors red (high), green (low), amber (medium) and each contents role toward the adult GDA were displayed through the nutritional labeling.

Speaking of labeling, the consumers and retailers both hope that there will be a change in the food choices being made in terms of food shopping. It is believed that many will shift toward healthy diet by making an improvement in their diet by keep track of the calories. The fundamental goal of this research was to find new strategies to tackle obesity and COVID-19 issues by making people aware of the importance of calorie labeling to encourage healthier choices.
