India's 1st Ice Popsicle brand, Skippi Ice Pops, got whopping funding of 10 million INR in the first edition of Shark Tank India for around 15% equity broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television late in December.

Skippi Ice Pops, led by Kabra Global Products Pvt. Ltd., is likely to innovate and launch a new product with a touch of fun and entertainment in the food and beverage sector through the beautiful couple Anuja and Ravi Kabra.

Skippi Ice Pops became memorable by becoming the first brand to get an All Shark Deal on Shark Tank India. Shark Tank India was impressed by the pitch, and the product by Skippi Ice Pops offered backing from all the five sharks including, Namita Thapar, Executive Director, Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Vineeta Singh, CEO & Co-founder, SUGAR Cosmetics; Aman Gupta, Co-founder & CMO, boAt; Anupam Mittal, Founder & CEO, Shaadi.com; and Ashneer Grover, MD and Co-founder, Bharat Pe.

Skippi ice pops are available in Hyderabad with over 660 outlets and also hold around 2206 across India. However, the number is likely to grow after receiving such heavy investment. The product is priced at INR 240 with 12 pops in 6 different flavors for a paper box and INR 666 for a bag of 36 pops.

Also, the company is India's first ice pop brand that claims to opt for 100% natural sweeteners, preservatives, colors, and flavors. Skippi ice pops is also the first brand in the country that is to be sold in organized retail outlets.
