Univar Solutions Inc., a worldwide chemical and ingredient exporter and value-added services company, announced today a partnership with The Hatchery Chicago, a nonprofit food company incubator, to nurture food and beverage development at one of North America's biggest incubator facilities. Univar Solutions has opened a new Food Solution Unit at The Hatchery Chicago, that is part of a global network of specialized Solution Centers. Formulation laboratories, research & development facilities, and test kitchens are among the state-of-the-art centers of excellence that assist create creative solutions over a variety of sectors.

Univar Solutions seeks to create a spirit of creativity and push solutions for the technological issues driving the future of food through its work at The Hatchery Chicago. This includes assisting The Hatchery Chicago in its efforts to promote women-owned and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)-owned companies. Univar Solutions will concentrate on satisfying customer demand for the most up-to-date high-quality ingredients and producing clean-label food items that help meet the demand for healthier, more sustainable ingredients. Univar Solutions will combine culinary science with app development support to develop innovative problem-solving formulations, recipes, and excipient kits to help products of all sizes grow and thrive.
