On Wednesday, the World Health Organization stated a very strong comment that the coronavirus may never go away, we must try to live with it.

As many of the countries have started to ease down their lockdown restriction since it has become necessary to revive the economic slowdown that occurred due to the lockdown.

The virus that emerged in China infected more than 4.2 million people and has killed around 300,000 people worldwide. The WHO commented that this infection cannot be wiped out completely.

Michael Ryan, the WHO’s emergencies director, further suggested that this is a complete new virus that has entered into the human community and at this stage it is very hard to predict anything about it. May be it might turn out to be another endemic virus that may live in our community throughout. It is same like HIV; it has not gone but we have learned to live with it.

Many of the countries were under lockdown ever since the outbreak of the pandemic but the WHO insisted that easing down on the restrictions may not or may trigger a second wave of infections.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, chief of the WHO, recommended that every country should take up measures at the highest possible levels. There is a long way to go.

Ryan also commented that to think that every will get back to normal is highly impossible even if there are lockdowns or if it is not, we must try to learn to live with it.

He also commented that attacks on the healthcare workers that are being reported in various countries are quite grave. The healthcare workers are trying to help you in this crucial situation and people who are trying to take out their frustration on them are senseless.  We should find out ways to conquer the virus and right now the only solution is to find vaccines and medicines.
