About noble gases

Noble gases, also known as inert gases or aerogens, are a group of elements that exhibit chemical inertness on account of their unique atomic structure. Most of these gases are highly unreactive, as a result of which they are widely used in non-reactive applications. There are six naturally occurring noble gases; Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon and Radon. These gases are primarily obtained from atmospheric distillation of air, with some of them also being sourced from natural gas and rock sediments. These gases are marketed and distributed in either tonnage, merchant, or packaged forms.
